Read motion as data.
Two trajectory points and their time interval determine speed. The direction from Ready to the ball gives angles, while changes between marker images inform spin analysis.
Two cameras observe the ball at the same instant from different viewpoints. Intersecting the sight lines of matching observations reconstructs its position in space.

BLACK reads from ceiling-mounted cameras.
NEX B combines floor optical sensors and cameras.
X-GOLF BLACK
Two ceiling-mounted smart cameras, aligned front to back, read the movement of the ball and club.
- Sensing method
- Camera-only sensing
- Core configuration
- Two ceiling smart cameras
X-GOLF BLACK is a dual smart-camera system mounted above the hitting bay. With no floor sensor, two high-speed cameras observe the club and ball from above and record impact frame by frame.
2048×1024 resolution and 1,440 frames per second provide detailed source images across time. The camera analyzes ball detection, speed and spin, with subsequent processing on the PC. The on-screen ball launches within 0.3 seconds of impact.
Built on X-CAMERA, the high-performance smart-camera technology developed by X-GOLF since 2020. An October 2022 KIMM performance test recorded an impact detection time of 3.87 ms. Protected by smart-camera sensor patent 10-2256260.
X-GOLF NEX B is a separate configuration combining NEX floor optical sensors with smart cameras. It differs from BLACK's two ceiling cameras. Conversion of existing equipment is assessed against the installed configuration.
